DELIB

We are developing a differential equations library which will address the needs of nearly every type of user who needs information about a differential equation. The library will contain an interface that allows a user to locate a specific differential equation, and will then supply information about that equation. For example, an exact solution might be listed, or a reference to a research paper containing qualitative information about the equation might be given. The library will be extensive, extensible, and organized using modern electronic library concepts.

   This page shows how a user may locate a specific differential equation within the library. There are several different ways: by formula, by name, by an expandable table of contents, by number within the library, or by selectable features of the differential equation.

   This page is for a specific linear second order ODE. The general solution is given, as are several references.

2. This is the output page for the Airy function

   This page is for a specific linear second order ODE with specific boundary conditions. The exact solution is given, as are several references.

3. This is the output page for the Zoomeron equation

   This page is for a complicated PDE, that has a standard name, for which there is no exact solution known. For this equation a reference is given to useful qualitative information that is available.

4. This is the output page for an unnamed equation

   This page is for a straightforward ODE, that has not been given a name, for which there is no exact solution known. For this equation a reference is given to useful qualitative information that is available.
